Mooring is available for boats up to 70ft priced at £7.73 per ft per quarter (minimum charge of £193.25). Please call or email for availability.

The boat yard at North Kilworth Wharf isn’t just used for carrying out our daily customer services, such as welding, fabrication, engineering and hull blacking. With ample space available, we reserve a large area for hard standing for DIY work or storage of your boats.

We charge hardstanding at 50p per ft per week with an optional electricity charge of £2 per day. This means you can work on your boat without feeling rushed, or keep it stored at a price you can afford.

If your boat is a grp up to 34ft (dependant on weight) we have the onsite facilities to pull it out the water and place onto hardstanding at a cost of £170.00.

If you require your steel narrow boat to be placed on hardstanding we use a very reputable company to crane the boat. Please phone for prices, we do try and get people together to keep the costs down.

Our experienced staff are also available to give friendly advice or guidance for keeping your boat well maintained.

Our boat yard is easy to get to from the surrounding Midlands areas, as we are based in the Leicester section of the Grand Union Canal, not far from the M1. The summit is known for its beautiful, rural landscape.
